Get ready to channel your inner Emeril for this one, folks...
If you've seen some of the other recipes on this site, you probably know by now that we have an infatuation with merging pizza and nachos. So today is no different, and we've got a kickass dish merging some classic Italian cuisine with our favorite, nachos. A traditional Margherita Pizza is a thin crust pizza, adorned simply in the colors of the Italian flag from basil (green) + mozzarella (white) + tomato sauce (red). Coincidentally, those colors are also used on the Mexican flag! So I guess this dish is a match made by the United Nations. One day, I'll delete that sad attempt at a joke but for now, this recipe page needs the character count.
This is actually a fairly minimalist nacho recipe. It works great as a full meal for a couple, or an appetizer for a larger group if it's accompanied by classic Italian entrees. I listed garlic powder as optional, but you might also consider using real garlic cloves chopped, or minced bits of garlic on this in addition to the ingredients below.
In any case, we hope you enjoy the recipe for Margherita Nachos with mozzarella & burrata! We definitely encourage you to make this recipe and let us know what you think! If you do make it, please take pictures & add to your feed or your story, and tag nachos on Instagram for a chance to be featured on our page!
